IF THE PLAYOFFS STARTED TODAY... September 24, 2010

It's getting late and tight.
1 game in the loss column separate the Twins, Yankees and Rays... but they are all getting in.

Atlanta, Cincinnati, San Diego and San Francisco are all tied in the loss column... and while the Reds are safe, the Braves, Padres and Giants are fighting for 2 spots.

Let's see what the match ups are.

AMERICAN LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES

MINNESOTA TWINS (AL Central Champion)
has home field advantage over
TAMPA BAY RAYS (AL Wild Card)

NEW YORK YANKEES (AL East Champion)
has home field advantage over
TEXAS RANGERS (AL West Champion)

NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (NL East Champion)
has home field advantage over
CINCINNATI REDS (NL Central Champion)

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
(NL West Champion)
has home field advantage over
ATLANTA BRAVES (NL Wild Card)

Maybe the Giants can put the Rockies away for good this weekend... maybe the Rays or Yankees cold get some space... maybe the Rangers and Reds can get closer to clinching.

Chances are this won't be any clearer tomorrow.
